You will lead and mentor ELC teams, drive high-quality practice aligned with the National Quality Framework, and support centres to achieve strong operational and educational outcomes. The role works closely with internal stakeholders, TAFE NSW, and the broader Programs team to ensure services reflect best practice, inclusion, and community engagement.
Please note this is a full time contract until December 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support ELC Coordinators across daily operations
- Drive high-quality pedagogical practices and continuous improvement
- Build leadership capability through coaching and mentoring
- Support recruitment, performance management, and team culture
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements
- Foster strong relationships with families, communities, and stakeholders
- Collaborate across programs to achieve organisational goals
- Promote inclusive, child-focused, and culturally responsive practices
About You
You are a strong and authentic leader with:
- Extensive experience in early childhood education and care leadership
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and best practice pedagogy
- Excellent people management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- A commitment to inclusion, collaboration, and high-quality outcomes for children and families
- The ability to lead teams through reflection, continuous improvement, and positive culture building
