About the Role:
The Asset & Facilities Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting the Asset Manager in delivering day-to-day facilities, asset, WHS, and maintenance operations across Gowrie NSW sites. This role focuses on coordinating operational activities, maintaining accurate asset and compliance data, managing contractor interactions, and supporting reporting and project administration.
By ensuring smooth operational delivery, this role enables the Asset Manager to focus on strategic asset management, governance, capital planning, and risk management initiatives.
The position involves occasional regional travel to support operations, including infrequent overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate reactive and planned maintenance works, including logging, prioritising, and tracking requests.
• Act as the primary operational contact for contractors, issuing work orders, coordinating works, and monitoring performance.
• Maintain accurate asset registers, compliance records, and maintenance data within systems.
• Support preventative maintenance programs, site inspections, and condition reporting.
• Assist with contractor compliance, including collection of insurances, licences, and WHS documentation.
• Support WHS systems by maintaining registers, coordinating audits and inspections, and tracking corrective actions.
• Assist with project and capital works coordination, including documentation, site access, and communication.
• Provide financial administration support, including tracking expenditure, raising purchase orders, and preparing reports.
• Act as a first point of contact for site-based facilities enquiries and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Support site operations through minor practical tasks, logistics coordination, and making safe minor hazards where appropriate.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and data quality.
What We’re Looking For:
• Trade, technical, or tertiary qualifications in Construction, Building, Facilities Management, or a related field (desirable).
• Demonstrated experience in facilities, maintenance coordination, or asset management support roles.
• Proven ability to coordinate contractors and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
• Strong understanding of WHS requirements and compliance practices.
• Experience maintaining asset data, systems, and reporting.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work both operationally on-site and administratively across systems.
• Current Working with Children Check (essential).
• White Card and First Aid (desirable).
