Job Description

About the Role 
We are seeking a hands-on and experienced ICT Manager to take ownership of all ICT-related activities and functions across Gowrie NSW. Reporting directly to the CFO, this pivotal role ensures our ICT systems and services are reliable, secure, and aligned with strategic objectives and budgets. 

You will manage vendor relationships, oversee service delivery, strengthen cyber security measures, and support staff across multiple sites. This is both a strategic and operational role where you will lead ICT planning while staying close to the detail of day-to-day ICT service delivery. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Oversee ICT operations, systems, and vendor management, ensuring service levels are met. 

  • Partner with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to manage help desk, infrastructure, and cyber security. 

  • Lead ICT risk management in partnership with MSP including cyber security, disaster recovery, and incident response. 

  • Maintain and review IT assets, licensing, and vendor contracts across the organisation to ensure service levels are met and optimal value is achieved. 

  • Provide input into ICT budgeting, system improvements, and procurement decisions and manage annul budgets for IT spend  

  • Develop and manage the five-year IT Strategic Plan 

  • Support ICT onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring staff are provided with the necessary ICT tools, system access, and training in ICT and cyber security. 

  • Deliver regular ICT reporting to senior management. 

 

About You 
You are a proactive and adaptable ICT professional with a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on capability. You bring deep technical knowledge, excellent vendor management skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement. 

Key Requirements 

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification. 

  • 8–10 years’ experience across ICT systems and operations 

  • Multi-site support experience highly regarded 

  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, cloud services, networking, cybersecurity practices, and ICT infrastructure. 

  • Experience in business systems development, process improvements, and vendor management. 

  • Hands-on approach with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
