About the role : Senior OSHC Educator ( Responsible Person - Split Service Role) 

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to take on a permanent part-time role as a Responsible Person across two services: Kent Road OSHC ( Macquarie University Area) during term time and North Sydney Vacation Care during school holidays.
 

Split Service Role:

  • Term Time: Responsible Person at Kent Road OSHC

  • Vacation Care: Responsible Person at North Sydney OSHC
     

Working Hours:

  • Must be available 4–5 afternoons per week on a permanent basis

  • Morning availability is preferred but not essential

Hours may vary slightly depending on program needs ( Morning hours 7am - 9am - afternoon hours between 2pm - 6pm)

Duties and Expectations:

  • Oversee and support daily operations as the Responsible Person in charge

  • Provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for all children

  • Assist with planning and implementing fun, age-appropriate activities

  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members

  • Ensure all policies, procedures, and compliance standards are met
     

Requirements:

  • Experience in OSHC or working with children is essential 

  • Preferably have Certificate III or Diploma ( Children's Services) or are working towards this or a similar qualification

  • Must have a genuine passion for working with children

  • Ability to support and supervise children across different age groups

  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and relevant clearances

  • Willingness to work across two locations as needed

You will also need to ensure compliance and safety requirements are met, do some paperwork and assist with cleaning and food preparation. 
 

About you 

We’d love to hear from you if you: 

  • Have a passion for working with children  

  • Preferably have Certificate III or Diploma (Children’s Services) or are working towards this or a similar qualification  

  • Have valid compliance certificates (e.g. WWCC, Child Protection, First Aid etc.)
