About the Role:
As the Manager of Professional Learning, you will be the driving force behind the business unit ‘Education Hub’ – responsible for the development, planning, and administration of our sector-leading professional learning program. Your work will be pivotal in elevating the expertise of teachers and educators across the sector, ensuring that Gowrie NSW remains synonymous with educational excellence.

A full re-launch of our Education Hub will mean you will be leading a program where possibilities are endless. You’ll have a blank canvas, and the opportunity to make this business unit something unique and bespoke for the sector, continuing Gowrie NSW’s reputation as a leader in impactful professional development.
You will:
- Craft a responsive, evidence-informed professional learning program tailored to the evolving needs of the early and middle childhood sectors.
- Forge and nurture partnerships with leading academics, consultants, and learning partners to deliver a program that is rich in broad pedagogical expertise.
- Stay ahead of sector trends, legislation, and policy changes, ensuring our programs are always relevant, impactful, and aligned with Gowrie NSW’s pedagogical priorities.
- Lead the creation and facilitation of engaging professional learning programs, turning research into practical, actionable insights for educators and teachers across the sector.
- Collaborate closely with our Executive Director of Pedagogy, ensuring our Education Hub remains a beacon of professional development
What We’re Looking For:
- Pedagogical Leader: A strong background in early childhood education, with post-graduate qualifications in early childhood education and a deep understanding of adult learning principles.
- Innovator: Experience in designing and implementing professional learning programs that are both forward-thinking, and rooted in best practices and reflective of the diverse needs of the workforce.
- Collaborator: Ability to work seamlessly with internal teams and external partners, leveraging collective ideas.
- Strategic Thinker: Proven experience in managing projects, budgets, and delivering high-impact learning experiences.
- Passionate Educator: Someone who lives and breathes our values—integrity, caring, authenticity, purposefulness, and inclusivity.
