About the Role

This is a Part Time role working 4 hours per day Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

Daily Maintenance & Presentation

  • Ensure all spaces are clean, inviting, and well-presented each day.
  • Tidy classrooms, verandas, outdoor play spaces, and foyers, ensuring a clutter-free environment.

Learning Environment Support

  • Contribute to maintaining inspiring learning environments: 'Clean, Tidy, Ready & Beautiful'.
  • Ensure children’s routines are supported by having sheets, beds, and belongings clean and ready.

Laundry & Hygiene

  • Launder bedding, bibs, and other items, maintaining a clean laundry space.
  • Regularly clean the washing machine, dryer, and related equipment.

Midday Cleaning

  • Clean children's bathrooms, replace hand towels, and maintain hygienic spaces.
  • Tidy staffroom, empty dishwasher, and handle general cleaning tasks as needed.

General Upkeep

  • Maintain clean corridors, windows, walls, and signage.
  • Clean equipment like mops, brooms, and bins weekly.

Lunch Support

  • Assist with lunch setup and cleanup, ensuring tables and chairs are clean and ready for use.
  • Help reset lunch spaces and support the cook with food deliveries.

Essential requirements for the position are:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Current compliance certificates (e.g. WWCC / WWVP etc.)
